There are a number of events scheduled around the state to celebrate the inauguration of Donald Trump as the 47th President of the United States. An important one, if you are looking to network with movement conservatives, is hosted by Filipe Pedroso in Bridgewater. Pedroso, an attorney and grassroots activist, is the creator of the VoterMaker software.

The Pinelands Republican Club is holding a Candidate Forum and Straw Poll at 6:30pm on Wednesday, January 29th. Every announced and exploratory GOP candidate for Governor has been invited. The event is being held at Carla’s Classic Car Shop (447 Oakshade Road) in Shamong.
This is a genuine grassroots event at which the gubernatorial candidates will hear from average voters. The Pinelands Republican Club has over 300 members. The group’s stated belief is “New Jersey needs leaders who support ending elitist control of our families, our taxes, and our lives.”
The format calls for a 4-minute opening for each candidate; followed by 5 questions, with a 2-minute response time for each; and a 2-minute closing statement. A straw poll will be held among Pinelands Republican Club members afterwards. This vote will decide who the organization endorses and supports.
